    Chewie, born on January 21, 2023, in Virginia, completed an extensive training program that led to his certifications as both a Therapy Dog and an Emotional Support Animal, preparing him to offer comfort, companionship, and emotional support. He is a beloved presence, bringing joy to students and staff during classroom visits, sporting events, performances, and various community gatherings. Recognized for his positive impact, Chewie has proudly earned the title of "Captain of Team Chewie."

    Fun Fact - Chewie absolutely loves a game of fetch, especially when it involves leaping into the water! His enthusiasm shines brightest when he can make a splash while chasing after his favorite toys.

    Nickname - “Teddy”
    Breed - Standard Goldendoodle
    Gender - Male
    Handler - Jessica Tremble, Supervisor of Counseling & Student Services, PreK-8

    Teddy was born on April 3, 2024, in Virginia. After undergoing an extensive training period, he earned certifications as both a Therapy Dog and an Emotional Support Animal.  Teddy loves visiting the classrooms to show off his skills, which include sitting, giving paw, and lying down on command.

    Fun Fact - Teddy really enjoys having his ears rubbed!

    Gender - Male
    Handler - Paula Raigoza, PBSIS District Coordinator

    Meet Kobe, our beloved Therapy Dog and certified Emotional Support Animal, born on March 12, 2024, in Virginia. After an extensive training journey, Kobe earned his certifications and is now a proud member of the One 51¶¯Âþ Learning Community. Kobe brings joy and calm to students by visiting classrooms, attending school events, and connecting with everyone he meets. Through the 51¶¯Âþ Schools Dog Therapy Initiative, Kobe is here to make a positive impact on our schools, offering comfort, encouragement, and a warm, furry presence to all.

    Fun Fact - Kobe loves squeaky toys and sometimes "sneaks" them into classrooms, bringing laughs to students and staff alike!
